Verifying a digital fingerprint helps confirm that a specific document existed at a given time, without storing its contents. It is an independent, timestamped integrity record that can be checked publicly.
It helps confirm:
- that a proof exists
- its registration date
- the integrity of the recorded fingerprint
Two ways to verify
1. Verify with a digital key
If you have the digital key, you can view
the matching record directly in the public registry.
This confirms that the record exists and shows its issue date.
2. Verify with a fingerprint
If you have the original document, you can recalculate
its digital fingerprint and compare it with the recorded one.
Any difference would indicate that the content has changed.
How verification works
When a proof is issued, a unique digital fingerprint is generated from the exact contents of the submitted file.

Independence and transparency

Aucun stockage de fichier n’est réalisé. Aucune intelligence artificielle n’intervient dans la vérification. Le processus est déterministe et reproductible.

Exemples d’usage en situation réelle
In many situations, verifying a proof helps avoid unnecessary disagreement.
Exemple : un devis envoyé à un client est contesté plusieurs semaines plus tard. Instead of entering into a lengthy argument, the sender can simply provide the associated digital key. The public record confirms the registration date of the submitted version.
